The Battle of Norway

The Battle of Norway

Drawing on twelve years of Ukraine’s wartime experience, including more than four years of high-intensity warfare, the study examines how Russia could challenge Norway across multiple domains, identifies critical gaps in Norway’s and NATO’s existing defence posture, and assesses how Ukraine’s combat-tested capabilities, technologies, and operational experience can help address them.

The study is intended to contribute to a forward-looking strategic dialogue between Ukraine and Norway: one that moves beyond assistance to Ukraine towards deeper defence cooperation, joint capability development, and a shared approach to strengthening European security.

This study was commissioned by Buntar Aerospace and prepared by the Sahaidachnyi Security Center in support of a stronger Ukraine–Norway Strategic Defence Partnership.
