On February 6-7, 2025, the international conference “Ukraine Recovery: Building Back Better?” took place in Florence, Italy, bringing together experts, policymakers, and academics to discuss Ukraine’s reconstruction. The event was organized by the European University Institute in Florence, John Cabot University, and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies.
The conference served as a platform for discussions on security, governance, and international support for Ukraine.
Lesia Ogryzko, Head of the Sahaidachnyi Security Center, emphasized the direct link between security, defense, and the country’s recovery: “To bring Ukraine closer to victory, we must invest in its reconstruction today. But above all, we must provide military support.”
Sahaidachnyi Security Center’s participation in such events fosters international partnerships between Ukrainian and Western analytical communities and advocates for Ukraine’s national interests on the global stage.
