Together with Lindsay Skoll, UK Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN in Vienna, Michael Kofman, Senior Fellow from the Carnegie Endowment, Michael Gabriel Zinkanell, Director of the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES), Franz-Stefan Gady, Senior Fellow from the Institute for International Strategic Studies, the Director of the Sahaidachnyi Security Center participated in a discussion on Russia’s war on Ukraine during the European Forum Alpbach.
The participants discussed the military and political situation pertaining to the war as well as implications for Ukraine’s reconstruction, EU and NATO accession and options for peace.
“The West should not be asking what concessions Ukraine is ready to make, but to finally develop a victory strategy for Ukraine”, underpinned Lesia Ogryzko.
