Maryna Hrytsenko is a US-Ukraine Programs Specialist at the Sahaidachnyi Security Center, where she works on developing strategies and policy initiatives aimed at deepening US–Ukraine defense and security cooperation. Her role involves engaging with government bodies, think tanks, and international partners to support key Ukrainian priorities on the global stage.

Prior to joining Sahaidachnyi Security Center, Maryna served as a Foreign Policy Advisor to a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, advising on U.S. relations, military aid, and arms control. She has significant experience in drafting policy documents, organizing strategic consultations, and engaging with high-level stakeholders.

Maryna has also held leadership roles in strategic communications and international events. As a Senior Project Manager at Yalta European Strategy, she led international outreach efforts and organized key events, including at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Her background spans the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including leadership positions in B2B tech marketing, international education, and social impact initiatives. She is an alumna of Ukraine Global Scholars and the U.S. Department of State’s FLEX program.

Maryna holds a degree in International Relations from Vassar College, where she studied on a full scholarship. Her global academic experience includes programs at the Stockholm School of Economics and Boston University in London.
